サツマイモのおいしい季節
このごろサツマイモがおいしくて、しょっちゅう食べている。
サツマイモはゆっくりじっくり加熱したほうが甘味が増す。だから間接的に加熱する石焼芋は格別おいしい。
だが家ではただ蒸しただけで食べることが多い。それでも十分に甘くて、おいしい。
蒸かしたてのあつあつにバターをのせて、溶けかけのところを食べるとカロリーなんて気にしてはいられない。
あるいはバターのかわりにゆるく泡立てた生クリームで和えれば、へたなケーキよりおいしい。ラムレーズンを加えると大人の味になって更に言うことなし。
レモンやリンゴといっしょに甘煮にしてもおいしいのだ。
